Infant Program

Infant Program - 6 Weeks to 18 Months

This program provides three full time care givers who are trained in Infant - Toddler care and have years of experience working with this age group. The maximum number of children in this group is eight. Each child has his own crib and there are pretty white wicker dressers for the children's clothing.

The room is divided into several areas: small motor, large motor, sensory perception, and creative expression. There is a feeding area, a changing area, and a food prep area.

The play equipment, which is age appropriate, is constantly being changed to meet the needs of the children.

The program is planned to stimulate the children socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively, and creatively.

The children go outdoors (weather permitting) daily. When they reach the age of 17 months they are introduced to the Toddler Program, which they will move into when they reach 18 months.
